Effective June 16, dried longan from Cambodia is officially permitted for export to China.
The approved product refers to dried longan fruit intended for human consumption, produced in Cambodia through processes such as sorting, drying, and shelling (or retaining the shell), without any cooking or further heat-processing.
Production enterprises exporting dried longan to China must be registered with the Chinese authorities (GACC). Prior to export, the Cambodian competent authority shall inspect and quarantine the products in accordance with the requirements of the protocol and issue a Phytosanitary Certificate for each compliant shipment.
