Effective June 11, dried plums (Prunus domestica), dried apricots (Prunus armeniaca), pistachios (Pistacia vera), and almonds (Prunus dulcis) from Pakistan are eligible for import into the Chinese market.
Pakistani producers of dried nuts intended for export to China must obtain GACC registration before their products can be exported to China.
Before export, the Pakistani authorities must issue a Phytosanitary Certificate for shipments of dried nuts that have been inspected and found compliant with the requirements of the Protocol.
